Community Guidelines

Introduction

JobzMall is a professional community dedicated to career development, hiring, and networking. To maintain a safe, trusted, and productive environment for professionals and businesses, we require all users to adhere to these Community Guidelines.

Unlike general social media platforms, JobzMall is a workspace. We hold our community to a higher standard of professional conduct. Behavior that is acceptable in a casual social setting may be unacceptable here if it undermines the integrity of the hiring process or professional networking.

Prohibited Content & Behavior

You may not use JobzMall to post content or engage in behavior that falls into the following categories:
  1. Illegal Acts & Violence
    • Encouraging or inciting violence, terrorism, or physical harm.
    • Promoting illegal goods or services.
    • Posting sexual content, pornography, or any content involving the exploitation of minors.
  2. Harassment & Bullying
    • Targeting individuals with abusive language, threats, or intimidation.
    • Doxxing (sharing personal or confidential information of others).
    • Engaging in unwanted sexual advances or sexual harassment.
  3. Discrimination & Hate Speech
    • Promoting violence, harassment, or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.
    • Employment Specific: Posting job requirements or comments that violate equal employment opportunity laws (e.g., "Men only, " "No older applicants") unless a bona fide occupational qualification applies.
  4. Professional Integrity & Fraud
    • Fake Jobs & Scams: Posting nonexistent job opportunities, "bait and switch" schemes, or jobs that require upfront payments from candidates.
    • MLM & Pyramid Schemes: Promoting multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or get-rich-quick opportunities.
    • Impersonation: Pretending to be a company, recruiter, or individual you are not.
    • Spam: Sending unsolicited promotional messages, repeated duplicate content, or attempting to artificially inflate engagement.
  5. Professional Conduct & Platform Integrity JobzMall is a professional workspace. Users are expected to communicate and behave in a respectful, professional, and business-appropriate manner at all times. The following conduct is expressly prohibited:
    • Abuse of Staff: Abusive, hostile, threatening, profane, or intentionally disrespectful communications directed at JobzMall employees, contractors, or support staff.
    • Disruption: Repeated low-quality, disruptive, or bad-faith communications that interfere with hiring, networking, or platform operations.
    • Unprofessional Outreach: Use of JobzMall to send “junk” messages, unwanted romantic advances, or content inconsistent with professional workplace norms.
    • Evasion: Attempts to evade moderation, enforcement, or platform safeguards (e.g., creating new accounts after a ban).
    • Security & Anonymity: Use of JobzMall with disposable, misleading, or demonstrably insecure email accounts (e.g., temporary or "burner" emails) where such use undermines trust, security, or platform integrity.
JobzMall reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether conduct meets professional standards and may take action accordingly.

Enforcement Philosophy

JobzMall retains sole and absolute discretion to determine whether content or behavior violates these Guidelines. We reserve the right to take action against any account or content at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.

While we strive to be consistent, the context of professional networking matters. When determining enforcement, we consider:
  • The severity of the violation.
  • Whether the behavior disrupts the hiring process.
  • The user’s history on the platform.

Reporting Violations

We encourage all users—whether the direct target or a bystander—to report violations. We do not require you to be the target of abuse to report it. If you see something that violates these rules, please report it immediately via the platform tools or to [email protected].

Consequences

Violating these rules may result in:
  • Content Removal: We may delete posts, jobs, or comments.
  • Account Restriction: We may limit your ability to post or interact.
  • Suspension or Termination: We may permanently ban your account and, where appropriate, report your activity to law enforcement or legal authorities.
Appeals If you believe your account was restricted in error, you may submit an appeal to [email protected]. Please provide your username and a detailed explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect. JobzMall’s decision on appeals is final.

Note: These guidelines are dynamic. We may update them to address new risks or behaviors. Continued use of JobzMall constitutes acceptance of these guidelines.
