  1. Conduct research in the field of solar energy, including designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and writing reports and articles for publication.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the research team to develop and implement research projects and initiatives.
  3. Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of solar energy and integrate new knowledge and techniques into research projects.
  4. Utilize state-of-the-art facilities and resources to conduct research and experiments.
  5. Publish research findings in academic journals and present at conferences.
  6. Assist in grant writing and securing funding for research projects.
  7. Mentor and supervise graduate and undergraduate students in their research activities.
  8. Communicate research findings and progress to stakeholders, including colleagues, industry partners, and the general public.
  9. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of the Florida Solar Energy Center and the University of Central Florida.
  10. Participate in outreach and educational activities related to solar energy, such as workshops, seminars, and community events.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records of research activities and data.
  12. Adhere to ethical and safety guidelines in all research activities.
  13. Collaborate with industry partners to apply research findings to real-world applications and solutions.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of solar energy research.
  15. Uphold the values, standards, and reputation of the Florida Solar Energy Center and the University of Central Florida.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Renewable Energy, Engineering, Or Environmental Science.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Conducting Research In The Field Of Solar Energy Or Related Fields.

  • Track Record Of Publications And Presentations At Conferences Related To Solar Energy.

  • Experience In Securing Research Grants And Managing Projects.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As Proficiency In Data Analysis And Statistical Software.
