  2. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sterile processing area.

  4. Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, Demonstrating A Basic Level Of Education And Competency.

  • Sterile Processing Certification: A Valid Sterile Processing Technician Certification Is Required For This Role, Which Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed A Recognized Training Program And Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform The Job Duties Effectively.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Sterile Processing, Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Experience Will Help The Candidate Quickly Adapt To The Role And Understand The Specific Requirements Of The Job.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: The Role Of A Sterile Processing Tech I Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure That All Instruments And Equipment Are Properly Sterilized And Safe For Use In Medical Procedures. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Organizational Skills And Be Able To Follow Strict Protocols And Procedures.

  • Ability To Work Second Shift: This Position Requires The Candidate To Work A Full-Time Second Shift Schedule, Which May Include Weekends And Holidays. The Candidate Should Have The Flexibility To Work These Hours And Be Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job, Which May Include Standing For Long Periods And Lifting Heavy Objects.
