American Electric Power posted 123 new job openings across a broad geographic footprint, including Columbus and New Albany in Ohio; Tulsa and Shreveport; Corpus Christi; Roanoke; Fort Wayne; and other sites. The hiring surge aligns with ongoing investments in generation development, grid modernization and cybersecurity, as AEP advances both new generation projects and transmission network enhancements. The openings span multiple levels—from principal and senior to associate—and include roles in operations, design, and support functions to sustain the company’s expanding portfolio.
