If so, Natera is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Pathology Support Coordinator for our Sample Review department. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of sample processing to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases. This is a full-time position, working Tuesday through Saturday on the 2nd shift.   1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases.
  2. Review and analyze sample data to ensure proper documentation and adherence to protocols.
  3. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during sample processing.
  4. Maintain and update inventory and database systems with sample information.
  5. Communicate with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to provide updates on sample status and address any concerns.
  6. Follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain quality and accuracy in sample processing.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in sample processing.
  8. Work closely with the Sample Review team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  9. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in order to identify any discrepancies or errors in sample data.
  10. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and privacy policies to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as laboratory and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Natera and promoting our mission of improving patient outcomes.
  14. Flexibility to work on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule on the 2nd shift, as needed.
  15. Uphold the company's values and ethical standards in all interactions and tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Genetics, Or Healthcare Administration.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Or Laboratory Setting, Preferably In Pathology Or Genetics.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Processes And Procedures, Including Specimen Handling, Testing, And Result Reporting.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team And Provide Support To Healthcare Providers And Patients.
