Job Description

Morgan Stanley is looking for a highly experienced and motivated Vice President - Data Scientist to join our team. This individual will play an integral role in driving data-driven solutions and improving decision-making across the organization. We're looking for an experienced data scientist who can lead our data science team and provide strategic direction. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and predictive analytics, combined with exceptional communication and organizational skills.The ideal candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in a data science role. They should also have a proven track record of implementing successful analytics projects and working with senior stakeholders. The successful candidate must be able to interpret and apply complex data and analytics to solve problems and develop actionable insights. They should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the data science team and provide strategic direction in the development of data-driven solutions and improved decision-making.
  2. Develop and implement successful analytics projects.
  3. Interpret and apply complex data and analytics to solve problems and develop actionable insights.
  4. Work with senior stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects.
  5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and other team members.
  6. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  7. Research and stay up-to-date on the latest data science trends and technologies.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
