  • Greet and welcome patrons to the library, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with finding materials, answering questions, and resolving issues and concerns.
  • Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials, ensuring they are easily accessible and in good condition.
  • Develop and implement programming and events to engage the community and promote literacy, education, and lifelong learning.
  • Assist patrons in utilizing library resources, including computers, databases, and online resources, and provide instruction and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and partners to promote library services and programs.
  • Conduct reference interviews to determine patrons' information needs and provide accurate and helpful information and recommendations.
  • Assist with the development and management of the library's budget, including purchasing materials and supplies.
  • Stay up-to-date on current library trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve services and programs.
  • Collaborate with other librarians and library staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation of the library.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Library Science Or Information Science From An Accredited Institution.

  • Previous Experience Working In A Public Library Setting, Preferably In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role.

  • Knowledge Of Current Library Trends, Technologies, And Resources.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Diverse Populations.

  • Familiarity With Library Cataloging Systems And Databases, As Well As Proficiency In Research Methods.
