  1. Develop and implement effective environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and policies for Uber's Autonomous Mobility & Delivery division.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to EHS.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks, and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into business processes and decision-making.
  5. Monitor and analyze EHS data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to all levels of the organization on EHS matters.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry peers.
  10. Lead incident investigations and ensure timely and effective corrective actions are taken.
  11. Develop and manage budgets for EHS initiatives and programs.
  12. Communicate and report on EHS performance to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  13. Promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
  14. Identify and address potential EHS risks in new and emerging technologies and processes.
  15. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes teamwork.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Environmental, Health, And Safety Regulations And Compliance, Particularly In The Automotive Or Transportation Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Managing And Implementing Successful Environmental, Health, And Safety Programs And Initiatives In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Risk Assessment And Mitigation Strategies, As Well As Incident Investigation And Emergency Response Planning.

  • Familiarity With Emerging Technologies And Trends In The Autonomous Mobility And Delivery Space, With The Ability To Proactively Identify And Address Potential Ehs Issues And Concerns.
