  1. Oversee the sterilization and distribution of medical equipment and supplies within the healthcare facility.
  2. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained according to industry standards and protocols.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the sterile processing department to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  4. Manage the department budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  5. Train and supervise staff members, including hiring and performance evaluations.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of sterile equipment and supplies for patient care.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock.
  8. Maintain accurate records of all sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in sterilization techniques and equipment.
  10. Investigate and resolve any issues or incidents related to the sterilization process.
  11. Foster a culture of safety and quality within the department and promote a positive work environment.
  12. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure their needs are met in a timely manner.
  13. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare facility leadership team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.

  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Sterile Processing Or Central Supply Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Sterile Processing Techniques, Infection Control, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Previous Management Or Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Sterile Processing Or Central Supply.
