To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing and hold a current sterile processing certification.

  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the sterile processing department.
  2. Ensure all sterile processing activities are in compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high quality and safety standards.
  4. Lead and supervise a team of sterile processing technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective workflow processes.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies are available for sterile processing procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Sterile Processing Department, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Knowledge Of Current Regulatory And Accreditation Standards Related To Sterile Processing, Including Aami, Joint Commission, And Cms.

  • Certification As A Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt) Through A Nationally Recognized Organization.

  • Proven Track Record Of Implementing And Maintaining Quality Improvement Processes In A Sterile Processing Department.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Train Staff, Collaborate With Other Departments, And Communicate With External Stakeholders.
