What type of retirement plans does Southwest Airlines offer?

Southwest Airlines offers a 401(k) plan, in addition to a Deferred Compensation Plan and a Retirement Savings Plan. The 401(k) plan allows participants to contribute up to 50 percent of their eligible compensation, up to a maximum of $18,000 in 2017. The Deferred Compensation Plan permits participants to contribute up to $18,000 each year. Employees may also invest up to $18,000 in the Retirement Savings Plan.
