Job Description

The User Experience (UX) Group in San Diego has an opening for UI/UX researcher/designer for Sony’s accessibility features. We are looking for a candidate who has deep understanding and knowledge or has worked on accessibility who is capable to review/evaluate Sony product to make our products more accessible. Support planning and conducting usability studies to evaluate new and existing products, and making constructive suggestions for change to make our products more accessible Conduct benchmarking studies of competitor products from accessibility point of view Evaluate Sony products to make our products more accessible Generate new ideas or recommendation to fix the problem from the finding Analyze accessibility related regulation and make sure we comply Create awareness within Sony globally related to accessibility including creating training materials, planning for promotion and trade show support.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge of basic interaction design/user-centered design principles

  • Basic understanding of human factor engineering, user centered design and research method
