In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our store is well-stocked and providing excellent service to our customers.   1. Stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels: Ensure that all products are stocked and organized in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
  2. Cash handling: Accurately process customer purchases and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
  3. Customer service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering any questions they may have and providing excellent service.
  4. Product knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our products and services, and be able to recommend and upsell to customers based on their needs.
  5. Store maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  6. Teamwork: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and provide support when needed.
  7. Time management: Prioritize tasks and complete them efficiently to meet store goals and deadlines.
  8. Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management when products need to be restocked.
  9. Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  10. Animal care: Handle and care for live animals in the store, following proper protocols and providing a safe and comfortable environment for them.
  11. Dependability: Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts, and communicate any absences or schedule changes in a timely manner.
  12. Sales goals: Work towards achieving sales goals set by the store manager and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  13. Adaptability: Be able to adapt to changing situations and customer needs, and remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
  14. Product receiving: Receive and process incoming shipments of products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  15. Training: Participate in training programs to improve knowledge and skills related to job duties and store operations.
