Job Description

As a Distribution Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our delicious pizzas are delivered to our stores efficiently and on time.   1. Oversee the distribution process of pizza to Papa John's Pizza stores.
  2. Lead a team of distribution workers, including delegating tasks and providing guidance and support.
  3. Ensure that all pizzas are delivered to stores in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate supply for all stores.
  5. Maintain and enforce quality control standards to ensure that only the best pizzas are delivered to customers.
  6. Train and onboard new distribution team members to ensure they understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  7. Communicate with store managers to address any delivery issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Monitor and report on distribution metrics, such as delivery times and inventory levels, to identify areas for improvement.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and logistics, to optimize distribution processes.
  10. Implement and maintain safety protocols for all distribution activities.
  11. Handle any escalated customer concerns or complaints regarding delivery.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to continuously improve distribution strategies.
  13. Ensure compliance with all company and legal regulations related to distribution and delivery.
  14. Manage scheduling and time-off requests for distribution team members.
  15. Uphold the company's high standards of service and professionalism at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Supervisory Experience: A Distribution Shift Supervisor At Papa John's Pizza Should Have Prior Experience In A Supervisory Role, Preferably In A Distribution Or Logistics Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Effectively.

This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Routing, And Scheduling, As Well As Familiarity With Distribution Software And Technology.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Papa John's Pizza Is A Popular And Rapidly Growing Pizza Chain, And The Distribution Shift Supervisor Must Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment. This Includes The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously, Make Quick Decisions, And Adapt To Changing Priorities.
