At Pacific Gas and Electric, we are looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for cybersecurity, with the ability to think outside the box and stay on top of the latest cyber trends. The Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with the IT team to protect our network, systems, and data from vulnerabilities and cyberthreats.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in the information security field, with an emphasis on cyber risk management. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. The candidate should also possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols, as well as a working knowledge of cyber-attack detection, prevention, and response. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure that all security measures are up to date and properly implemented.We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual who can bring a unique perspective to the team and help us stay ahead of the cyberthreats. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and cyber risks.
Develop and implement security protocols and controls to protect the network, systems, and data from cyber threats.
Investigate and respond to any security-related incidents.
Research and stay up to date on the latest cyber trends and threats.
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that all security measures are implemented properly.
Monitor security logs and events for suspicious activity.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training materials.
Create detailed reports on security metrics and system performance.
Maintain security systems and identify any areas that may need improvement.
