MercyOne Sees Net Hiring Surge Across Iowa

MercyOne reports a broad hiring push across its Iowa network, adding 251 new roles and delivering a net staffing increase. Openings cover nursing, laboratory, imaging, patient access, therapy, dietary, and facilities support.

Openings are spread across Des Moines, Waterloo, Davenport, Mason City, Dubuque, Clinton, Bettendorf, Ankeny, Cedar Falls, Newton and other communities. The postings include RN, MA, LPN, Lab Technician, Pharmacist, Respiratory Therapist, security and housekeeping roles, as well as supervisory and quality leadership positions. Some roles offer incentives, such as a $10,000 starting bonus for APP – Neurosurgery in Des Moines. MercyOne says the expansion is intended to strengthen patient care and access across its network.
