MedStar Health Expands with 182 New Jobs

MedStar Health announced the addition of 182 new job postings across its Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia locations as of August 13, 2026. The openings span roles from nurses and therapists to administrative staff and operations leadership, reflecting a broad effort to expand patient care capacity and improve operational support across the network.

The postings include positions such as PRN Critical Care APPs, registered nurses across multiple units (ICU, IMC, telemetry, women's health), therapists, medical assistants, clinical coordinators, and many support/service roles (unit secretaries, rehab technicians, nutrition services, environmental services, and patient service coordinators). The roles are distributed across MedStar Health campuses in Baltimore, Clinton, Olney, Leonardtown, Washington, DC, and nearby areas, with both full-time and PRN opportunities, including per diem and weekend schedules.

The hiring push aligns with ongoing efforts to recruit diverse, skilled professionals to sustain the network’s expanding patient load and specialized services, such as critical care, surgery, cardiology, oncology, and ambulatory care.
