MedStar Health Adds 167 Jobs Across Regions

MedStar Health published 167 new job postings on Sept. 17, 2026, across facilities in Washington, DC; Maryland; and Virginia. The openings cover nursing, allied health, radiology, pharmacy, IT, and administrative support, with notable postings for Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) in Medical, Surgical and Telemetry Units; Emergency Department and ICU nurses; CRNA at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital; Physical Therapists in Outpatient and Home Care; Radiology Technologists; and a wide range of other clinical and support roles at sites including MedStar Washington Hospital Center, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, MedStar St. Mary’s in Leonardtown, and MedStar Baltimore campuses.

At the same time, 176 positions were removed, leaving a net decrease of 9 jobs across the system. The activity highlights ongoing workforce planning across MedStar’s hospitals and clinics, with continued demand for inpatient and outpatient care, rehabilitation, imaging, and patient services, alongside regional adjustments to staffing mix.
