- Provide exceptional customer service to pet insurance members by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails from pet owners, ensuring all interactions are handled with empathy and efficiency.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all pet insurance policies and procedures to accurately assist members with their inquiries.
- Educate members on their coverage options, claims processes, and any updates or changes to their policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex member issues and escalate as needed.
- Utilize various systems and tools to accurately document member interactions and update policy information.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues or concerns to ensure overall member satisfaction.

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards to maintain the highest level of service to members.
Strong Communication Skills: A Member Care Representative 1 - Pet Must Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Communicate With Pet Owners And Address Their Concerns.
Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Essential For This Position, As The Member Care Representative Will Be Responsible For Providing Top-Notch Service To Pet Owners.
Knowledge Of Pet Insurance: Familiarity With Pet Insurance Policies And Procedures Is A Key Qualification For This Role, As The Member Care Representative Will Need To Understand The Coverage And Benefits Available To Customers.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial For A Member Care Representative, As They Will Be Responsible For Processing Claims And Ensuring Accuracy In All Interactions With Customers.
