  1. Analyze and interpret data related to our Medicaid population to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Develop and maintain complex financial and statistical models to support decision-making and forecasting.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving the health outcomes of our members.
  4. Monitor and analyze healthcare costs, utilization, and performance metrics to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Utilize various data sources and tools to conduct in-depth analyses and present findings to senior leadership.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform data analysis and recommendations.
  7. Conduct ad-hoc analyses as needed to support business needs and initiatives.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert on healthcare analytics and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
  10. Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  11. Communicate complex data and analysis in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  13. Mentor and train junior analysts on data analysis techniques and best practices.
  14. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, systems, and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of the Medical Economics team.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Sql And Data Visualization Tools Such As Tableau Or Power Bi.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Economics, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Healthcare Analytics, Preferably With Medicaid Data.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Payment Methodologies, Including Risk Adjustment And Capitation.

  • Prior Experience In A Managed Care Organization Or Healthcare Payer Setting Preferred.
