  • Provide individual and group therapy services to students, faculty, and staff at MIT who have neurodiversity and/or ASD
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs and goals
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals and medical providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients
  • Stay current on research and best practices related to neurodiversity and ASD to inform treatment approaches
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for neurodiverse individuals within the MIT community
  • Facilitate workshops and trainings for staff and faculty on how to support and accommodate neurodiverse individuals
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional and legal standards
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations to ensure the highest quality of care for clients
  • Actively engage in professional development and pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Maintain a positive and collegial attitude towards colleagues, clients, and the MIT community as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited Program, With A Focus On Neurodiversity And Asd.

  • Current Licensure As A Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (Licsw) In The State Of Massachusetts.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Individuals On The Autism Spectrum And Their Families, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Best Practices And Evidence-Based Interventions For Supporting Neurodiverse Individuals In An Academic Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team Including Faculty, Staff, And Students.
