Operations Controller

Gucci seeks an Operations Controller in New York City to champion financial integrity and operational excellence across retail, distribution, and store planning. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, optimize working capital, and enable data‑driven decisions that uphold Gucci’s luxury brand standards and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cash flow management and forecasting to safeguard liquidity and fund strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate month‑end close processes with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliant financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between operations and finance by maintaining robust internal controls and risk mitigation across all business units.
- Develop and monitor KPIs for inventory, supply chain, and store operations to drive efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor costing and margin analysis for product lines, channels, and regions to support pricing and assortment decisions.
- Lead variance analysis across regions and channels to explain deviations and propose corrective actions.
- Implement process improvements in procurement, inventory, and distribution to reduce cycle times and errors.
- Analyze seasonal demand trends and merchandising plans to optimize inventory levels and turnover.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to deploy finance technology tools that enhance reporting accuracy and user experience.
- Drive compliance with corporate policies, external regulations, and Gucci’s governance standards across all operations.
- Support risk assessment and business continuity planning by identifying vulnerabilities and enhancing resilience across the operating model.

Job Qualifications
