Forman Mills is seeking a Front End Manager who blends retail rigor with a people-first approach in Flint. You will steward customer experience at the front lines, mentor a dynamic team, and partner with store leadership to deliver seamless operations that drive growth and community trust. Responsibilities
- Lead daily front-end team operations to ensure fast checkout and high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate cashier schedules and break coverage to maintain service levels.
- Monitor queue times and adjust staffing to minimize wait times.
- Oversee training of new associates on POS, policies, and loss prevention.
- Enforce store policies and safety procedures to protect customers and teammates.
- Analyze sales data to optimize product placement and promotional effectiveness.
- Collaborate with department managers to execute seasonal merchandising plans.
- Resolve customer escalations with empathy and timely resolution.
- Audit cash handling and register procedures to reduce discrepancies.
- Coach teammates on upselling and recommend add-ons to increase average ticket.
- Maintain front-end equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and welcoming customer experience.
- Prepare end-of-day reports and communicate results to store leadership.
