Forman Mills is seeking an energetic Back End Supervisor to optimize and oversee our Highland Park, MI distribution operations, ensuring accuracy, speed, and excellence in every shipment. You will lead a dedicated team, drive process improvements, and collaborate with store operations to deliver outstanding value to customers with reliability and safety at the forefront.
Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse backend operations to ensure accurate inventory, timely replenishment, and loss prevention.
- Coordinate daily pick, pack, and ship workflows to meet customer expectations and carrier SLAs.
- Monitor system workflows in the ERP/Inventory software to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Lead a team of associates, assign tasks, and provide coaching to improve productivity and morale.
- Enforce company policies and safety standards to maintain a compliant and secure workplace.
- Analyze key performance metrics and produce actionable reports for operations leadership.
- Collaborate with front-end store operations to align stock levels with promotions and seasonal demand.
- Troubleshoot order discrepancies, returns, and damaged goods to minimize financial impact.
- Implement process improvements that reduce cycle times and elevate order accuracy.
- Schedule shifts, holidays, and overtime to optimize labor cost while meeting service levels.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and transparently.
- Maintain robust documentation of standard operating procedures and training materials.
