Job Description

Coordination and facilitation of people, systems, and tools to mitigate impact from an incident as quickly as possible. Collecting information (symptoms) about the incident and deciding how to delegate that out as quickly as possible. Partner with a Technical duty officer to facilitate mitigation. Representing the business interests of the company during a production issue, i.e. acting as the customer and their best interests. Acting as the business decision maker within reason and based on previously agreed conditions (i.e. stakeholders agreed upfront that if there’s data corruption, shut the front door).
