As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing our EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
  3. Train and educate employees on EHS policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
  4. Monitor and assess workplace conditions to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  5. Stay up-to-date with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to EHS.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS compliance in all areas of the company.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all EHS-related activities and incidents.
  8. Develop emergency response plans and protocols and conduct regular drills and exercises.
  9. Lead investigations into workplace incidents and accidents and provide recommendations for prevention.
  10. Develop and manage relationships with external agencies and organizations related to EHS.
  11. Prepare and present reports to senior management on EHS performance and compliance.
  12. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EHS programs and procedures.
  13. Mentor and train junior EHS staff members to ensure a strong and competent team.
  14. Maintain a proactive approach to identifying potential EHS risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for all EHS-related matters within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Safety And Health, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Ehs Management, Preferably In A Corporate Or Industrial Setting.

  • Certification In Ehs, Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (Chmm).

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Ehs Regulations And Experience Developing And Implementing Compliance Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Mentor Junior Ehs Staff And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
