Job Description

The ideal candidate has knowledge of and experience with configuring and maintaining large data clusters, and a willingness to leverage those skills in the creation and delivery of training content. Design, develop, and maintain training materials for various delivery channels, including instructor-led and self-paced online learning. Collaborate with instructors and other curriculum developers on all phases of content design and development. Work with subject-matter experts from other technical departments (product development, documentation, professional services, sales engineering) to ensure content accuracy and completeness. Record and edit video content for Cloudera's online learning platform. Deliver beta and train-the-trainer classes as part of the course release process.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience with data management systems (relational databases and data warehousing solutions)

  • Strong Linux system administration experience across several distributions (CentOS, RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES)

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure

  • Systems administration-level knowledge of LDAP, HTTP/Apache, DNS/BIND, SSH, and NFS
