Sewer Maintenance Laborer
Assists and operates hydraulic cleaning and closed circuit televised inspection equipment to analyze the sources and locations of obstructions. Assists in responding to sewer overflows, restores normal flows, assesses cause and responds accordingly. Manually digs and back-fills trenches and holes. Sets up and removes barricades, cones, warning signs, flags, and lights. Locates, inspects, and tests sewer main lines and sources of leaks. Responds to consumer requests regarding odor complaints and residential backups. Complies with CAL-OSHA personal and equipment safety regulations. Observes proper safety precautions. Maintains tools, supplies, equipment, and the work site in safe condition.
Experience in a maintenance related field.
