Job Description

Identifies areas with high insect activity. Locates the nesting areas contributing to high activity levels. Cleans and treats areas that have been identified as nesting areas. Monitors Pheromone traps weekly and replaces traps and lures at the recommended frequency to insure their effectiveness. Assists with fogging and crack and crevice application. Maintains sanitation storage rooms. Cleans and sanitizes food processing equipment, floors, walls and related facilities. Removes components of equipment for cleaning and re-assembles. Mix and use chemicals related to cleaning and sanitizing equipment and to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months previous work experience in a sanitation or janitorial position

  • Previous experience in food processing and lean manufacturing is highly desired.
