  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment in the Oncology Infusion department.
  2. Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
  4. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License: Candidates Should Have A Valid Cna License From The State Of Minnesota, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Competence In Performing Basic Nursing Tasks.

  • Oncology Experience: Previous Experience Working In An Oncology Or Infusion Setting Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of The Unique Needs And Challenges Of Caring For Cancer Patients.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Allina Health System Requires All Employees To Have A Current Bls Certification, As It Is Essential For Providing Emergency Care And Ensuring Patient Safety.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Nursing Assistant, Effective Communication With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members Is Crucial. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.

  • Compassionate And Empathetic: Oncology Patients Often Experience Physical And Emotional Distress, And It Is Important For A Nursing Assistant To Have A Caring And Empathetic Demeanor To Provide Comfort And Support To Patients And Their Families.
