Perform routine maintenance and repairs on piping systems to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with piping systems to identify the root cause of problems.
Install new piping systems and make modifications to existing systems as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with piping systems.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any potential concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize maintenance processes and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in pipefitting techniques and technology.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to maintenance and safety.
Attend and participate in trainings and meetings related to maintenance and pipefitting.
Assist with training and mentoring new maintenance technicians as needed.
Adhere to company guidelines for quality and regulatory compliance.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Pipefitting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Pipefitting, With A Strong Understanding Of Various Piping Systems, Materials, And Tools.
Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings: As A Maintenance Technician, The Candidate Must Be Able To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings And Blueprints To Identify And Troubleshoot Issues With Pipes And Other Equipment.
Proficiency In Welding And Brazing: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Welding And Brazing Skills To Be Able To Perform Repairs And Installations On Pipes And Other Equipment As Needed.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Regulations Related To Pipefitting Work, Including But Not Limited To Osha Guidelines And Abbvie's Safety Policies.
Strong Problem-Solving And Communication Skills: As A Maintenance Technician, The Candidate Will Often Be Required To Work Independently And Troubleshoot Issues On The Spot. Strong Problem-Solving And Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
