- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain a clean and sanitary environment on campus.
- Ensure that all areas of the campus, including classrooms, offices, and common spaces, are clean and presentable for students, faculty, and staff.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and use appropriate equipment and cleaning products to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly campus.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Handle and dispose of waste and hazardous materials properly and in accordance with university policies and procedures.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up for special events and functions on campus.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report any shortages or damages.
- Collaborate with other members of the environmental services team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Provide excellent customer service to all members of the campus community and respond promptly to any cleaning requests or concerns.
- Train and mentor new team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about proper cleaning techniques and university policies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends related to custodial and housekeeping services.
- Comply with all university policies and procedures, including those related to environmental sustainability.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required by the university.
- Represent the university in a professional and positive manner at all times.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
One Year Of Experience In Environmental Services Or Related Field
