- Develop and execute strategic communication and marketing plans to support the mission of the University of Michigan.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
- Create engaging and impactful marketing materials, such as print and digital advertisements, social media content, and email campaigns.
- Use data and analytics to track and measure the success of communication and marketing efforts, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication and marketing, and apply them to enhance the university's outreach and impact.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets and key partners to expand the university's reach and visibility.
- Coordinate and oversee the production of promotional materials, including writing/editing content, designing layouts, and managing printing and distribution.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the university, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Manage and update the university's website and social media platforms, ensuring they are regularly updated with relevant and engaging content.
- Work closely with the admissions team to develop and implement recruitment strategies that attract diverse and qualified students.
- Monitor and respond to online reviews and comments about the university, maintaining a positive and professional online presence.
- Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and strategies for effective communication and marketing.
- Represent the university at events and conferences, promoting its mission and achievements to external audiences.
- Continuously evaluate and improve communication and marketing strategies to meet the evolving needs and goals of the university.

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Marketing And Communications, Preferably In A Higher Education Environment
Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Information To Various Audiences
Experience Developing And Implementing Marketing And Communication Strategies, Including Social Media, Email Campaigns, And Print Materials
Knowledge Of Branding And Graphic Design Principles, With Proficiency In Adobe Creative Suite And Other Design Software.
