  1. Develop and implement event plans for various university events, ensuring that all details are thoroughly planned and executed.
  2. Communicate with event stakeholders, including university staff, vendors, and attendees, to gather and understand event requirements and expectations.
  3. Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and equipment rental, to ensure a seamless event experience.
  4. Create and maintain event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective decisions are made.
  5. Coordinate with various university departments, such as catering, facilities, and marketing, to ensure all event needs are met.
  6. Oversee event set-up and breakdown, ensuring all materials and equipment are properly prepared and utilized.
  7. Maintain accurate event records, including attendance numbers, budget information, and feedback from attendees.
  8. Identify and troubleshoot any potential issues that may arise during events, taking proactive measures to resolve them quickly and efficiently.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event planning, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.
  10. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new event ideas and concepts that align with the university's goals and objectives.
  11. Ensure compliance with all university policies and procedures related to event planning and operations.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to all event attendees, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Assist in the training and supervision of event staff, ensuring all team members have the necessary resources and support to successfully execute events.
  14. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve event processes and procedures, implementing changes as needed to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Operations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Groups And Stakeholders.
