- Develop and maintain SCADA systems for power generation and distribution facilities.
- Ensure reliable and efficient operation of SCADA systems.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to identify and implement improvements to SCADA systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or disruptions in SCADA systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to SCADA systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in SCADA technology.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other engineers and team members.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations in all SCADA development and maintenance activities.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of SCADA systems.
- Document all changes and updates made to SCADA systems.
- Continuously monitor and analyze SCADA system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on SCADA development and maintenance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems with other company technologies.
- Participate in meetings and provide progress updates on SCADA projects.
- Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in all SCADA development and maintenance activities.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Development, Preferably In The Energy Or Utility Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Scada (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) Systems And Protocols, Such As Dnp3 And Modbus.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Commonly Used In Scada Development, Such As C++, Java, And Python.
Experience With Project Management And The Ability To Lead A Team In The Design, Development, And Implementation Of Scada Systems.
