If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at S&P Global as an Event Experience and Operations Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage all aspects of event planning and execution to deliver impactful and engaging events for our clients and stakeholders.   1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and logistics.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  3. Create and manage event timelines and project plans, ensuring all tasks and deadlines are met.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event concepts and themes that align with company objectives and brand image.
  5. Manage event budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
  6. Oversee event registration and attendee management, including tracking RSVPs and managing guest lists.
  7. Coordinate with marketing teams to promote events and drive attendance.
  8. Ensure all event materials, such as presentations, signage, and collateral, are produced and delivered on time.
  9. Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for future events.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event experiences.
  11. Manage on-site event operations, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting.
  12. Communicate event details and updates to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
  13. Monitor and report on event metrics, such as attendance, feedback, and ROI.
  14. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to events.
  15. Train and manage event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of events.

  • Strong Event Planning And Coordination Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Planning And Executing Large-Scale Events, Including Conferences, Trade Shows, And Corporate Meetings. They Should Also Be Able To Manage Multiple Events Simultaneously And Handle All Aspects Of Event Logistics.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An Event Experience And Operations Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Vendors, Clients, And Internal Teams. They Should Possess Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Build Relationships With All Parties Involved.

  • Project Management Expertise: This Role Requires A Candidate With Strong Project Management Skills, Including Budgeting, Timeline Management, And Resource Allocation. The Candidate Should Be Able To Handle All Aspects Of Event Operations, From Concept To Execution, In A Timely And Efficient Manner.

  • Creative Problem-Solving Abilities: Events Can Often Present Unexpected Challenges, And The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Handle Any Issues That May Arise. They Should Be Able To Think Creatively And Quickly Come Up With Solutions To Ensure The Success Of The Event.

  • Knowledge Of Event Technology And Trends: A Successful Event Experience And Operations Manager Should Be Up-To-Date With The Latest Event Technology And Trends. They Should Have Experience With Virtual And Hybrid Events, As Well As Knowledge Of Event Management Software And Tools To Enhance The Attendee Experience.
