Engineer, QA Engineering

S&P Global is looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for assuring the quality of our products by creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to verify the accuracy and functionality of our products.The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in software engineering and/or quality assurance engineering, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills. Additionally, you should be passionate about creating quality products and have a desire to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies. If you’re ready to make a meaningful contribution to our engineering team, we’d love to hear from you.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field• 3+ years of experience in software engineering and/or quality assurance engineering• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, etc.• Proven experience with both manual and automated test scripts• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to verify the accuracy and functionality of S&P Global's products • Troubleshoot and debug software issues • Ensure all products meet quality standards • Identify and document software defects • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality • Monitor system performance and suggest improvements • Collaborate with other teams to develop, implement, and maintain automated testing strategies • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
