We are currently seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a full-time night shift. As a CNA in our PCU, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our patients and supporting our nursing staff.   1. Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Assist nursing staff with daily tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic medical procedures.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control and safety protocols.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support and address any concerns or questions.
  6. Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
  7. Follow established protocols for patient safety and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain current knowledge and skills.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
  10. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude while promoting teamwork and a positive work culture.
  11. Maintain a positive relationship with patients and their families, promoting patient satisfaction and excellent customer service.
  12. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in patient care.
  13. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure patient needs are met.
  14. Follow all infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  15. Support nursing staff in maintaining a clean and organized patient care unit.

Job Qualifications

  • Bls Certification From The American Heart Association

  • Completion Of An Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program

  • Current Cna Certification In The State Of Florida

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As A Cna In A Hospital Setting, Preferably In A Progressive Care Unit (Pcu)

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
