  1. Develop and implement cutting-edge bioinformatics solutions to support the company's mission of improving patient lives through genetic testing technology.
  2. Act as a subject matter expert in bioinformatics, staying up-to-date on industry developments and advancements.
  3. Lead and mentor junior bioinformatics team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
  5. Utilize bioinformatics tools and techniques to analyze large datasets and generate meaningful insights.
  6. Develop and maintain pipelines and workflows for data processing and analysis.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to bioinformatics data and analyses.
  8. Communicate complex bioinformatics concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Provide recommendations for improving and optimizing bioinformatics processes and workflows.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of data, analyses, and results in compliance with company and industry standards.
  11. Collaborate with external partners, including academic and industry researchers, to advance bioinformatics initiatives.
  12. Contribute to the development of new bioinformatics tools and methods to enhance the company's capabilities.
  13. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in bioinformatics, and make recommendations for their incorporation into the company's operations.
  14. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to bioinformatics data management and analysis.
  15. Foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Bioinformatics Or Computational Biology Role

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Bioinformatics Software, Such As R, Python, And Unix

  • Experience Managing And Mentoring A Team Of Bioinformatics Scientists
