
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
At Mercy, we are looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide our patients with the highest quality of care. The SLP will be responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders in adults and/or children.To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, and current licensure in the state of practice. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Create individualized treatment plans for patients based on evaluations.
- Educate patients and families about the diagnosis and treatment plan.
- Monitor the progress of treatment and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports and documentation on patient progress.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Knowledge Of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha) Standards And Practices
Master’s Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited Institution
Valid State License Or Certification To Practice Speech-Language Pathology
