Job Description

Mercy is now hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. We are looking for a highly professional individual who is passionate about providing superior patient care and support. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license, and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Mercy’s patients while deepening your career and personal growth. Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders in patients.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing goals.
  3. Provide direct care to patients to improve communication skills.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best course of treatment for each patient.
  5. Participate in continuing education programs to maintain and improve clinical skills.
  6. Develop and maintain records of patient progress.
  7. Maintain a valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
  8. Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
