How does MIT promote diversity in the workplace?

MIT promotes diversity in the workplace in a number of ways. They have a variety of programs dedicated to promoting diversity and creating a welcoming environment for all members of the MIT community. These programs include increasing recruitment and retention of members of underrepresented and minority groups, fostering a culture of inclusion and respect, providing professional development and leadership opportunities for diverse individuals, and providing education and training on diversity and inclusion. Additionally, MIT has an Office of Diversity and Inclusion that works to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive university by collaborating with departments, offices, and students across the university.
