  1. Plan and coordinate a variety of social events and fundraising initiatives for Mainehealth, ensuring they align with the organization's mission and values.
  2. Work closely with various departments and teams to develop event concepts, themes, and budgets that meet the needs and expectations of the organization.
  3. Manage all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners, sponsors, and donors to support event initiatives and maximize fundraising efforts.
  5. Create and implement marketing strategies to promote events and attract attendees, utilizing both traditional and digital platforms.
  6. Coordinate event registration and ticket sales, as well as manage attendee lists and track RSVPs.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and successful event execution, including coordination of staff and volunteers.
  8. Monitor event budgets and expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
  9. Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future events.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to event planning and fundraising.
  11. Represent Mainehealth at community events and actively engage with the public to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to event attendees, sponsors, and donors, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  13. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to event planning, including contracts, invoices, and event evaluations.
  14. Assist in the development of fundraising strategies and initiatives to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  15. Uphold the organization's values and code of conduct in all interactions and activities related to event planning and execution.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Event Planning, Hospitality Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Event Coordination, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Events Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With A Variety Of Stakeholders, Including Vendors, Volunteers, And Community Members.

  • Knowledge Of Local And State Regulations For Events, Including Permits, Insurance, And Safety Protocols.
