  1. Coordinate and plan special events for Johns Hopkins University, including but not limited to, conferences, fundraisers, lectures, and community outreach programs.
  2. Develop and manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and negotiating contracts with vendors.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure events align with the university's mission and goals.
  4. Utilize creativity and innovation to conceptualize and execute unique and engaging event themes and activities.
  5. Oversee all logistical aspects of events, such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and audio-visual equipment.
  6. Manage event timelines and schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  7. Communicate event details and updates to internal and external stakeholders, including event sponsors, speakers, and attendees.
  8. Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and ensure accurate and timely event information is published.
  9. Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future events.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event planning to continuously enhance the quality of events at Johns Hopkins University.

Job Qualifications
