1. Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and coworkers within the retail store.

4. Respond to and handle any security or safety incidents, including but not limited to theft, accidents, or medical emergencies.
5. Collaborate with store management and other team members to develop and implement safety and security procedures and protocols.

7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all safety and security incidents, as well as any preventative measures taken.
8. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and external authorities, such as law enforcement or emergency services, as needed.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety and security regulations, and make recommendations for improvements to current protocols.
10. Provide exceptional customer service to all IKEA customers, and assist with any inquiries or concerns related to safety and security.
11. Collaborate with external security partners and vendors, such as security personnel or alarm companies, to ensure the safety and security of the store.
12. Participate in regular safety and security training and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.
13. Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times, and serve as a role model for safety and security practices.
14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
15. Act as a brand ambassador for IKEA, promoting the company's values and creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
