In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our tools and precision gages.   1. Perform thorough and accurate inspections of tools and precision gages according to established standards and procedures.
  2. Utilize various measurement techniques and equipment to ensure precision and accuracy of tools and gages.
  3. Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in tools and gages, and work with appropriate teams to resolve any issues.
  4. Maintain detailed and organized records of all inspections and findings.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and optimize inspection processes and procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in measurement techniques and equipment.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inspection results and any potential issues.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing inspections.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure proper functioning of equipment and tools.
  10. Continuously strive for improvement and efficiency in the inspection process to meet production targets and maintain high standards of quality.
  11. Train and mentor new inspectors on inspection processes and procedures.
  12. Follow all company policies and procedures, and adhere to all quality and regulatory standards.
  13. Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements and quality control measures.
  14. Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and production goals.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Precision Measurement Techniques: A Qualified Inspector, Tool & Precision Gage At Honeywell Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Precision Measurement Techniques And Equipment, Such As Calipers, Micrometers, And Optical Comparators. This Includes The Ability To Accurately Read And Interpret Measurement Results.

  • Knowledge Of Quality Control Processes: The Role Of An Inspector, Tool & Precision Gage Requires A Strong Understanding Of Quality Control Processes And Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of Iso And As9100 Standards, As Well As Experience With Performing Inspections To Ensure Compliance.

  • Familiarity With Precision Gage Calibration: Honeywell's Inspector, Tool & Precision Gage Should Be Familiar With The Calibration Of Precision Gages And Equipment. This Includes Knowledge Of Calibration Standards And Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Troubleshoot And Make Adjustments As Needed.

  • Attention To Detail: The Role Of An Inspector, Tool & Precision Gage Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy And Precision In All Measurements And Inspections. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Document Any Discrepancies Or Non-Conformances Found During Inspections.

  • Strong Communication And Documentation Skills: As An Inspector, Tool & Precision Gage At Honeywell, It Is Important To Have Strong Communication And Documentation Skills. This Includes The Ability To Clearly And Effectively Communicate Inspection Results To Team Members And Document All Findings And Actions Taken.
