
Associate Director of Meetings and Events

- Plan and execute all meetings and events for HCA Healthcare, including but not limited to conferences, seminars, symposiums, and company-wide events.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and ensure events align with company goals and values.
- Research and negotiate with vendors, including hotels, caterers, and AV providers, to secure the best rates and services for events.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue selection and setup, transportation, catering, and audiovisual needs.
- Create and manage event timelines, ensuring all tasks and deadlines are met.
- Work closely with marketing and communications teams to develop event messaging and materials.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and safety requirements for events, including contracts, insurance, and permits.
- Manage event registration and attendee communication, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and engaging event experiences.
- Monitor event feedback and make recommendations for improvement for future events.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event planning to enhance the overall attendee experience.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Event Planning And Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Event Planners And Coordinators.
Extensive Knowledge Of Industry Trends, Best Practices, And Resources For Meetings And Events.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Prioritize Tasks Effectively, While Maintaining A High Level Of Attention To Detail.
