  1. Conduct thorough and timely investigations into suspicious activity and potential money laundering cases, utilizing knowledge of AML/BSA regulations and industry best practices.
  2. Utilize various tools and resources to identify and analyze potential money laundering risks and trends within the organization.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, risk management, and law enforcement, to gather information and identify potential risks.
  4. Accurately document and maintain detailed records of investigations and findings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate and prevent money laundering and other financial crimes.
  6. Keep up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging threats to continuously improve investigative techniques and processes.
  7. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of AML/BSA training programs for employees to raise awareness and ensure compliance.
  9. Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive information and investigations.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on AML/BSA regulations and provide guidance and support to other departments within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Anti-Money Laundering (Aml) And Bank Secrecy Act (Bsa) Regulations: As A Corporate Aml/Bsa Investigator At Glacier Bancorp, Candidates Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of The Aml/Bsa Regulations And Guidelines Set By Regulatory Bodies Such As Fincen, Occ, And Fdic.

  • Experience In Conducting Financial Investigations: Candidates Should Have Experience In Conducting Financial Investigations Related To Money Laundering, Fraud, And Other Financial Crimes. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Complex Financial Transactions And Identify Suspicious Activity.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Job Of A Corporate Aml/Bsa Investigator Requires The Ability To Analyze Large Amounts Of Data And Identify Patterns Or Anomalies That May Indicate Potential Money Laundering Or Other Illegal Activities. Candidates Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Carry Out This Task.

  • Excellent Communication And Report Writing Skills: A Corporate Aml/Bsa Investigator Is Responsible For Preparing Detailed Reports On Their Findings And Presenting Them To Senior Management And Regulatory Agencies. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Their Findings.

  • Knowledge Of Banking Systems And Software: Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Banking Systems And Software, Such As Aml Monitoring Software, To Identify Suspicious Activity And Conduct Investigations. Knowledge Of Data Analysis Tools And Techniques Is Also Preferred.
