  1. Develop and create training content for Esri's GIS products and solutions.
  2. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in GIS technology to ensure that training content remains relevant and effective.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and completeness of training materials.
  4. Design and deliver engaging and dynamic training sessions for the GIS community.
  5. Continuously evaluate and improve training content to meet the evolving needs of our diverse audience.
  6. Use a variety of mediums, such as videos, webinars, and interactive exercises, to deliver training content.
  7. Create and maintain training materials, including user guides, tutorials, and exercises.
  8. Provide technical support and assistance to users during training sessions.
  9. Conduct assessments and gather feedback from users to improve training content and delivery methods.
  10. Serve as a mentor and resource for other GIS trainers and educators within the organization.
  11. Stay updated on Esri's products and solutions and communicate any updates or changes to the training content.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of training content with overall company goals and strategies.
  13. Represent Esri at conferences, events, and other industry gatherings to promote training and education resources.
  14. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards for training content creation and delivery.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Gis Software: A Senior Gis Training Content Creator At Esri Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Esri's Gis Software, Including Arcgis Pro, Arcmap, And Arcgis Online. They Should Be Able To Confidently Use The Software To Create Training Materials And Provide Guidance To New Users.

  • Strong Instructional Design Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Create Effective Training Content That Meets The Needs Of Diverse Learners. Candidates Should Possess Excellent Instructional Design Skills And Be Able To Develop Engaging And Interactive Learning Experiences.

  • Knowledge Of Gis Best Practices: A Senior Gis Training Content Creator Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Gis Best Practices And Be Able To Incorporate Them Into Training Materials. This Includes Knowledge Of Data Management, Analysis Techniques, And Cartographic Principles.

  • Experience In Adult Education: As A Senior Level Position, Candidates Should Have Experience Teaching Or Training Adults In A Professional Setting. They Should Be Familiar With Adult Learning Theories And Be Able To Apply Them To Create Effective Training Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Various Teams, Including Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, And Developers. Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential To Effectively Work With These Teams To Create High-Quality Training Content.
