Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of all campus venues, including scheduling, maintenance, and event logistics.
  2. Manage a team of venue staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and event organizers to coordinate and execute events, including booking, set-up, and breakdown.
  4. Maintain accurate records of venue usage and inventory, including contracts, payments, and event details.
  5. Ensure compliance with all university policies and procedures, as well as local and state regulations.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and improve overall venue operations.
  7. Monitor and manage venue budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  8. Conduct regular inspections of venues to ensure they meet safety and cleanliness standards.
  9. Serve as a point of contact for event organizers, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event management, and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote and market campus venues to potential clients.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to all guests, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and requests.
  13. Participate in meetings and trainings as required, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the venue and production management department.
  14. Other duties as assigned by the Venue and Production Manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Event Management, Hospitality Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Planning And Operations, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Large-Scale Venue Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices, Including Event Logistics, Budget Management, And Contract Negotiations.
